With most of the day to kill before our departures to opposite ends of Europe, our stomachs got the better of us. What followed was a tour from boulangerie (pastries with pistachio/white chocolate, nuts, chocolate, cream), to patisseries for macaroons (raspberry, pistachio), to drooling on the windows of the closed rather expensive chocolateries, to freshly pressed juices & coffee in the Luxembourg gardens, to various more affordable chocolateries (squares and truffles of milk, dark, white chocolate, mixed with fruits & nuts) to creperies (galettes with ham, eggs, cheese, tomatoes and apple cake). I can safely say we ate our way around Paris, a city which has something picturesque around every corner. Paris, je’taime!
It was great to finally see the twin again, and for now its à bientôt to my other (very freckled thanks to the great weather) half!
Until August at least, here’s to our next adventure – yacht week!
