The picture on the left pretty much sums up the summer. The infamous rice salad for your packed lunch, sunshine and kids running around everywhere.
Approximately thirty little pastries, twenty something coffees, twenty five incredible kids, fifteen verse ferrari songs, eleven pizza dinners, seven insanely good fellow tutors, three busy weeks, two crazy camps, two amazing host families and one glorious swimming pool later, I’m leaving the town of Treviglio to go to Asolo for two weeks for my next camp. Met amazing other tutors, visited beautiful churches, drank a lot of coffee, sung more kids songs, tested out my Italian, ate triple my weight in pasta, reverted to kids basic English, stayed in charming little villages, danced around my classroom like a loon, scripted a sherlock holmes/harry potter and the diamond theft show, shouted until I was hoarse, directed a five minute great train robbery sketch, hiked in the mountains and can’t show anyone most of my photos until I get home. I spent the first two weeks in Rho, just outside Milano before arriving in Treviglio. Can’t believe how much I missed this place! Onto the next camp!!!
